Block callers with iOS 7 :)

It only blocks people in your contacts list though. That's kind of useless. Personally, if I'm blocking your calls, you are not on my contacts.

Yah but see, I put unwanted callers in my contact list! The reason being is because I would use a "silent" ringtone so that I wouldnt hear it!! It did the trick, but this will do the trick better!

Wicked!! :) This has got to be my fav feature, considering I dont really get much of the visual effects, due to having an iPhone 4!

If you get a spam call, go into your call history, click the "i" on the phone number, and scroll down. You can block them without adding them :)

I've been hoping for this for ages, but what would be even better would be blocking withheld numbers.

Thats what I'm hoping for... if you can block withheld numbers and certain contacts...along side control centre I have no need for a jailbreak any more :)
 
you can also block text messages, to create a block list go to Settings>Messages, scroll to the bottom to blocked and add new... Sweet i hate having those spam text messages or telemarketers calling me
 
Geezus, been waiting for this for ages! iBlacklist wasn't very reliable for me. Hopefully they'll incorporated several options as to what blocked callers will hear.
 
Yeah it's a little laggy to get to it but i'm sure it's worth it. Haha I can imagine someone hearing "you are blocked from contacting this number".

I always just created a contact called SPAM (even with a pic of a can of Spam) and would just add numbers to that contact if they ever came through. Also gave it one of the gentler ringtones so I would know not to answer.

I'll just continue to do that and just block my SPAM contact so all newly added numbers are automatically blocked.
 
What sort of notification, if any, do you receive when a call or text is blocked?

Even if I block someone, I would like to know that they called and my phone blocked it.
