block facebook popup?

ny somewhere
am one of 12 people on the planet not on facebook. when i visit pages, this pops up over everything; if i click on 'not now', the window moves to the bottom of the screen, but still intrusive (am mostly on a 12' macbook).

any way to stop this? ie block or disable that pop up?
