Hi

I need to block outgoing traffic on specific ports. Is there anything default in OS X to do this? If not, what application could I use? I'd prefer to use the OS, if it has an ability to do this.

Many thanks!

I think that you can use ipfw within Terminal. You can use WaterRoof, which is ipfw with a nice frontend interface and easier to use instead of Terminal.

Or you can use LittleSnitch (shareware). A little expensive compared to the free ipfw command, but it's worth every penny in my opinion.

IPFW + Waterroof is a good combo. You can block incomng/outgoing traffic with it on specific ports.

LS is good too. It blocks only outgoing connection on an application by application basis, not on specific ports.
