How can I block a website on my own account?

I mean, any methods other than self-control?

lol trying to curb coming here so much? haha

Haha, I probably will be forced to the sooner MacWorld comes. (and finals)

I'm actually trying to not frequent another forum that's becoming a bad habit. I told the people there that I'm indefinitely leaving, and I signed out, and hopefully I can control myself.

I tried quitting MR, but I can't because this site is so well run with good people on here who are helpful.

Why on earth would you want to quit MR? Weeeeeeirdo.

It's not MR that I want to quit, but it can get in the way of other activities, such as my schoolwork.

MR is by far the best run forum I've seen; the people are nice, and I have no idea how they keep the trolls, jokers, and spammers out.

Just put the site name in your host file with an IP address of 127.0.0.1

Such as forums.macrumors.com - no http header part or slashes.

Now if you try to go there you get directed to your own computer. You can always re-edit the file if the urge hits that bad.

Cheers
