Hello,

I don't know where to place this question, bu as iPad user, I posted it here. Problem is, that I need to disable Internet connection for two devices in our LAN. How to do it? Via iPad or Mac.

Our router is AirPort Extreme.

Thanks

Can't you enable MAC filtering on the Airport Extreme router using the AirPort Utility on an iPad or a Mac?

Yes, its quite easy using the iPad.

Use the app Airport Utility.

Select your router.

Go to Edit in the top right.

Go to Advanced.

Go to Access Control and then either configure No access at all or specific times.

To do this you will need to know the MAC addresses of the devices you want to restrict. Once you know it you just type it in manually and you can give it a name you recognise like Jacks phone.

To obtain the MAC address wait until you know the device is on the network. Open Airport Utility. Click on your Extreme. Click on Wireless clients. A phone or ipad will probably have an identifiable name like the persons name or the model name. Click on the one you want to restrict and you will see Hardware Address. Write down that code or copy it. It will look something like FC:Y6:97:A9:56:A2.
