Quick question. Is it possible to block specific networks from showing up on my computer, or at least block my mbp from attempting to connect to them? I live in Philadelphia and have my own wireless connection in my apartment, but stupid friggin earthlink has their public wireless services and sometimes when i come back from sleep it tries to connect to that rather than my wireless. Its realllllyyyy annoying and I cant figure out how to just block these connections since they are absolutely worthless. any ideas?

blocking networks in airport?

By going to Network Preferences under Location (click the blue Apple) you can tell airport which WiFi signals you "prefer" by clicking Configure and taking it off :automatic" - this is OK if you don't travel a lot and only have a few locations.
