iPhone 7/Plus Blocking spam emails on iphone 7+

Is there a way to block spam emails on iphone? I don't see any. On pc based email service, one can choose to block any incoming email address one desires. Surely there is something similar on iphone.

the ways that exist to control spam/junk email depends mostly on two factors:

(1) what email client you are using on the iPhone

(2) what if any controls are available on email server level that your email account is on
