Hey folks, .... my younger brother will be staying with me for a time and I need to control / restrict / block his access to social media app's on his iPhone (carrier is Verizon). I am wondering what are some good options for doing this?

If he has an iPhone which has iOS 12 or later installed then you just use the inbuilt screen time feature, it allows you to limit access to certain apps, or even Block them out of use entirely.
Failing that then there are several alternatives in the App Store.
