Hello,

Can anyone recommend any of these;

or any other blogging software. I'm trying to help a friend decide on a solution that is easy for noobs and versatile enough to support things like logins, searchable posts, customisable interface. He has bought server space and a domain name with godaddy.

I recommend using Wordpress, its popular so its easy to find addons, themes, and to get support. It also has a nice easy interface and a lot of great features.

Here's another vote for WP. Its very versatile, I use it on a number of sites where multiple users and easy updates are a necessity.
