More hints at something is being worked on at the bottom of this link, Still nothing concrete though as to whether it will be built into a new Apple watch or some kind of clip on device to work with existing watches.

Thanks for sharing. As I mentioned in a few other posts it would be groundbreaking if Apple integrated non-invasive glucose sensors into a future Apple Watch. Would launch them into a whole new stratosphere. Just enabling direct communication between my AW and Glucose Sensor in watchOS 4 is tremendous news.
