Blood Glucose

So, I seen a number of advertisements saying that the Apple Watch can now monitor blood glucose levels. I think this is BS, for you need a sensor that comes into contact with your blood to send the data back to your watch or phone. Am I right?

It monitors from a device like Dexcom. The watch itself doesn’t capture the data, it gets it from the other device.
