Blowing up pdfs w/o cutting out text

I want to be able to blow my text up on a pdf I have to about 200% so I can read it correctly on my Sony reader. However, when I try to blow up the pdf in question using the print command(to say 150% or 200%) the text seems to get shifted left and significant chunks of it are left of the margin and thus not visible. Is it possible to blow up the text without having it get cut off?
