Blu-ray drive

Anyone care to hazard a guess if it would be possible to put one of these into an external 5.25" enclosure and have my mac recognise it (no drivers required, etc) and therefore be able to watch blu-ray films?

Only problem, is I'm sure there has to be software to decode the file though, right?

Leopard cannot play high-def discs yet.

I prefer the LG one that also reads HD DVD's...
