I have notice that movies ripped from Blu-Ray or a downloaded Blu-Ray rip is in mp4 format and although the format is supported by iTunes when I put it on my 
tv won't play it.
A couple of things come to mind as to why this can happen.
1. Thetv doesn't support the resolution that Blu-Ray or the rips provide.
2. isquint doesn't recognize the format either because of the quality of the file.
I have tried to convert the format from mp4 to m4v on the desktop with no luck.
Was wondering if patchstick would solve this problem. Any other suggestions will be awesome as well. Happy Holidays.
