Well, does it exist? Can it play Blu Ray movies and record BD-R, BD-RE, etc.

You can already write to BD-R/E with Toast or comparable software.

You cannot watch movies in OS X.

You can get a slot-loading Blu-ray drive for a MacBook or MacBook Pro. It's stupidly expensive.
 
Nope, not yet. Some reasons for that I've read suggest the form factor doesn't support the additional power requirements a Blu-Ray drive would demand. In the future though, Nehalem will probably leave enough power make Blu-Ray an option, which would be nice. Having a 1920x1200 screen and not putting in a Blu-Ray drive is nearly sacrilege!
 
so, maybe 10.6 will enable playback then? and maybe cheaper blu ray too.....
