Blu-Ray players that work w/ my MBP are easy enough to find but I had hoped to find (a portable) one that also had HDMI output so I could connect it to my TV when I'm home. I've seen some that say it requires 2 USB ports and you can connect it to the TV if it has a reader but that honestly confuses me a little bit.

Basically, I get BluRay screeners now and I'd like the option of watching on my MBP when I travel or just hooking it up to my TV via HDMI and watch it on there. If anyone has any advice, it would be very much appreciated!

I'm probably wrong, but my guess is that you won't find a portable USB CD/DVD/Bluray player that also has HDMI out.

You're probably going to need a "standalone" home Bluray player for the TV, -and- a portable USB CD/DVD/Bluray player "for the road".

Then again, there's something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Blu-Ray-Rechargeable-Battery-Support/dp/B078F6TLC3
...but I don't believe that's the kind of thing you mean, right?

Thanks so much for responding. But no, that's not what I'm looking for. More of a SuperDrive that I can connect to either my MBP or TV as the monitor. It doesn't need to be HDMI I guess but as long as I can hook it up to the TV. I assume HDMI since that's how my Roku/AppleTV devices are hooked up.
