blue beach ball on Facebook/Firefox

so, I've been noticing for the last few days that my cursor stays as a blue beach ball on Facebook. I'm using the most current version of Firefox. Anytime I load a different page (say CNN or ESPN), the blue beach ball goes away. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?
