Blue Cycle of Death after new HDD...Wont boot... (Video Included)

I just restored my Mac with a new HDD from my Time Machine. However, it doesn't boot into OSX. I see the Apple logo when it first starts up, and I see the Snow Leopard wallpaper for a split second, then it goes into a cycle of blue screen with a rotating progress bar on the bottom that comes and goes....

What on earth is wrong? Please Help!!!!

Thats the other problem...I hold down C when I start up my Mac, and it still doesn't boot into the CD...Stupid Mac...

Ok, I actually got it to boot into the CD. I'm verifying permissions right now...Well see what that does...Otherwise, How do I do an archive and install?

Crap..It wont boot back into the OSX installer. I think my Superdrive is broken. It keeps making the noise that its doing something, then it goes back to doing nothing...This happens over and over again...Should I bring it in to Apple? I've had to get just the SUPERDRIVE fixed 3 times...When does Apple replace machines?

Yeah, at this point it would probably be easier to take it in to the Genius Bar and have them take a look at it.

I'd show them all the issues that you've had, bring up that you've had replacement of parts in the past and gently try to persuade them to give you a replacement.

I reinstalled OSX, and now I'm up and running!

However...My bar at the top is doing something bizarre...It keeps disappearing...(Time, Time Machine, Bluetooth, Displays, ETC) Why?...

Update: I installed an OSX update, and that fixed the problem...
