I have it on good authority* that now that Apple is moving to Intel processors, they will also be borrowing Intel's marketing gimmick and will feature the Blue Man Group.

BMG will be shown pounding on various Macs to produce different sounds, mooshing the liquid in LCDs, playing with Mac startup chimes, matching other sounds to moving Mac parts, and remixing in GarageBand on a bank of 30" Apple Displays. Things like the tilt on the iMac, the hinge on the iBook, and the slide-out on the Xserve will be used in typical BMG style (motion matched to sound). And in one clip, the sound and music stops entirely, and you just see the three blue guys wearing iPods and writhing maniacally (in homage to the silhouettes in iPod commercials).

These should be fun!

I was thinking about those old Intel ads with the guys in the clean room "space" suits. Have them dance around in silhouette like the iPod ads. :D

Didn't Apple set fire to that guy when the G3 came out?

I hate those current BMG commercials for intel. I think Apple needs a new idea for their mac ads. The silhouetted dancers in the ipod ads wouldn't be very effective...

Yes, the Intel CEO showed the commercial during Steve's keynote.

Which, by the way, he took Steve's clicker away from him...
...never seen anyone else use Steve's clicker.

Anyone remember classical writing like Shakespeare? This is a very ominous action. Lets hope, na pray that it isnt a sign of things to come. (NOTE: still haven't seen the keynote, no highspeed, and EDGE latency for the past 24hrs is VERY high). I dont want anyone or corporation coo take Apple away from Mr. Jobs again.
