HELP!

I know this is a longshot but up until 3 weeks ago i wasnt an apple user at all! I have good tech knowledge with Windows, just not Mac so wondering if anyone can help me?

Having issues with MacBook Pro 2011.

Reset the PRAM for a different issue, now the whole screen has a blue overlay to it with tiny horizontal lines going across.

Anybody have any ideas on how to resolve this?

2011 MacBook Pro?
Sounds like someone got rid of one of those, and you have it now...
If it is a 15 or 17-inch model, those are unfortunately known for the "radeongate" issue. The graphics chips eventually fails. There's some known "fixes", but those aren't permanent. You can replace the logic board (the graphics chip is not replaceable by the normal DIY methods), but you would just get another logic board, also prone to the same failure.
Apple had a repair program that was supposed to repair that issue on the 2011 models (it really did not), but dropped those nearly 2 years ago.
