Basically earlier today i foolishly installed 'mac OS X lion developer preview 2' to see what it was like. However i didnt lke it and not everything worked (itunes etc) so i wanted to revert back to leopard.

To do this i put my installation CD in held C upon restart and reinstalled. However now whenever i start up after the loading screen i just get a blank blue screen.

I have tried using the disk utility and ran repair and restarted, still nothing.

Also when i try to start in safe mode i put my password in at the login screen, which i know is correct, but the screen just shakes and nothing happens. I think something is stopping me from logging in (i.e lion preview 2 is doing something).

The only thing i can think of left to do is to do a complete erase in install, however i have many important files i need for my uni project.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
