so i have a problem. i'm using a custom color profile i found here on MR for my 17" MBP. its a really nice color profile, but every time i wake my computer up from sleep it gets this blue tint. to get it back to normal i have to go to system preferences and click on display. i dont even have to go to color or choose anything, i just have to click on the display preferences and it goes back to normal. its a pretty weird issue and i was wondering if there's any fix for it.

I don't have an answer, but I thought I would add this to the discussion.

I have the same MBP, only with a 15" screen and I get the same thing. It doesn't happen every time, but often enough.

I use the default color profile. Maybe it's an OSX thing? Or something to do with the 8600 GT?

I've had this happen on my 2007 MBP too, it happens about once a month and seems that the laptop is waking up with the wrong colour calibration selected.

It fixes itself every time I click on the display preferences.
