I noticed some very small blue traces on the front aluminium edges of my iPhone 5. Should I be worried? It kinda looks like the metal was colored blue in that tiny tiny spot. I tried to scratch it away with my fingernail but that didn't work. I tried with a damp piece of tissue and it didn't work either. And then this morning I tried to rub it with a bit of vodka, it's still there.

Should I be worried? Could this be a battery/component leak or something? Or should I just ignore it?

Hey, I have the same issue, although in my case it's a 5s.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It's probably some manufacturing residue. Is your iPhone refurbished? Mine is, maybe it's a refurbishing thing.

By the way on mine it's the white plastic area embedded in the aluminium where it meets the glass of the screen.
