Is anyone using the BlueAnt S4 Bluetooth Speaker. I have no problems pairing it to Iphone 4, moves the contacts with no problem. When I give it the phone commands it does not allow. Speaker is very low also cannot here anything. Is anyone having this issue.

I am using the S4. There are two ways to raise the volume. First, make sure you have increase the S4's volume by moving you finger over the right sensor on the S4. You will hear it say, volume level up, or something like that. Then there is also the bluetooth volume for the Iphone 4 when the device is connected. Raise and lower it using the volume buttons on the side of the phone. There is also a sensitivity level selection. Refer to the S4 user manual for how to do it. Also, make sure after you are saying, blueant speak to me, you say voice commands to activate the phones in built voice command system.

Thanks for the reply, It appears that when I say phone commands and it transfer to the Iphone I can't hear it, all my settings are as I high as I can go.

iPhone 4 voice command audio level unusable with S4

I am having the exact same problem. Did you ever find a solution? Anybody?

My Blueant S4 volume is set to Max. My iPhone 4 volume is set to max. The Blueant volume sounds great. The volume of voice calls I receive is great. The female voice in the phones voice commands is inaudible with the blue tooth device. Without it -it is low but usable. It is like the signal from the hone is too low and then the blueant perceives the signal as noise and does not amplify it. If I say "Dial Craig" and it doesn't pick the correct contact - it may say back "Dialing Wayne" - but I wouldn't know that the incorrect call is being placed beacuse I could not hear what was said. Or if mutiple matches where found I'm out of luck.

Fixed Blueant S4 problem with iPhone 4 voice commands

Yeah - I fixed it. So, it turns out that the iPhone 4 has separate volume levels for just about everything. I had my music set to Max volume, and my phone calls, and my games etc. - what I did not know is that the Voice Commands had its own volume control and it was set to 50%. Now that I have it up to 100% my probloem is no more.

So hold down your Home button on your iPhone 4 and wait for voice commands to be activated, NOW use the volume control buttons on tghe left to pump up the volume!

Nee!
