I was watching the news with a piece on data found on HDD's, they showed a computer scrap yard. Right in the front of the scrap heap was a Blueberry iMac:eek: saddening to see an amazing machine gone to waste! But maybe they chose that spot with iMac just because of its beauty :cool:

That brings back memories. I remember the hockey puck mouse. And the expansion slot on the side, and the door to the ports that never worked and broke off. Still was a great machine :)

I have a lab of 24 Rev. A Bondi Blue iMacs here at work that are still running fine, but are finally slated for replacement this summer. I hate to do it, but I think they will get sent off for recycling, because no one wants a machine that old. We don't want to sell them, because then we would have to wipe the drives, and even if we say "as is", someone will expect some sort of warranty. I'm not sure what else to do with them.

Donation? Surely, somebody has use for them. If you are really in Iowa, I would take a few off your hands, no strings. ;)

Contact your local Goodwill and ask if they accept computers.
