I have had a popping sound on my new wireless beats. I called the company and the guy blamed Apple on known issues they are working on. When calling beats terrible service again and then Apple nobody else had anything to tell me about this issue, they didn't know about it. I don't necessarily trust that this guy knew what he was talking about but I don't really have anything else to try connecting the headphones to that isn't a Mac. If I get different bluetooth headphones will they have the same problem? (btw, I'm asking about that here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1524064/ )

I think its a known problem, I too get audio popping when connected to my AV Receiver via bluetooth. I hope the next 10.8.x update resolves the issue, as its quiet annoying. I currently stream via my iPhone 4 on iOS6 which does not seem to have the problem.
