Bluetooth 5000 Mouse scrolling issue

My Microsoft 5000 mouse doesn't scroll properly. It scrolls down on the first click, and back up on the next click and continues doing this. I installed microsoft Intellimouse drivers and while these got the back button to work, they did nothing for the scroll wheel.

I have a retina MBP with Lion, btw.

And now it works just fine.

Weird.
 
Disconnected, reconnected, and now it is doing it again. Has anyone else experienced this?
