Bluetooth Audio Drop Out

Has any one noticed a significant increase in audio drop out with iOS14?

Using an iPhone X and original AirPods, I have noticed that I am experiencing one to two seconds of silence every six minutes. This is happening with streaming and downloaded audio.

Some thing I have experienced only very occasionally with iOS13. Is this a recognised problem among other users?
 
I have an issue with iPhone 12 Pro on 14.2 and AirPods Pro where there is a very slight stutter as I do other things on the phone - seemingly coinciding with loading something new into memory but I cant be totally sure. Slight but noticeable. Nowhere near a second.
