Hello all,

Quick question. Will this product enable me to play music from my MBP Retina 2013 or iPhone 4S to a Bose iPhone Speaker (it has aux)?

The answer is yes, if you plan on streaming via Bluetooth. The micro usb plug is probably for charging only. This device is the receiver, so any device that transmits Bluetooth will be able to pair with this device. The mini jack then plugs into any mini jack compatible component. If you are concerned about sound quality I would make sure that it has the most recent aptX Bluetooth driver, it should say in the specs.

Aptx has no support from iPhone.

Make sure it has AAC support.
