Bluetooth Audio Quality Issues

Hi there. I have bought a new pair of BT headphones and can notice a significant difference in quality when connecting them to my MBP rather than iPhone.

I am having a 15" Retina MBP and an iPhone 6.

The quality when having them connected to the Mac is all good. Having them connected to the iPhone the quality drops noticeably!!

Any idea or fix for that issue?
