I've been having this strange issue with my mac and bluetooth audio. I have my Bose speakers paired up with a bluetooth audio receiver (the Homespot audio receiver to be exact). But I've noticed that on both Yosemite and El Capitan developer beta the volume becomes mute on the first bar and you can't hear any audio until the second bar. And I've made sure that the audio isn't just quiet or anything on the first bar... it literally becomes mute. The same issue occurs with other bluetooth headphones.
I've tried NVRAM, SMC reset and clean install but the issue persists.
Anyone knows if this is just a bug in 10.10+ or is this a hardware issue?
