Bluetooth Codec (AAC not working)

Hello,

For some reason, I can‘t get my bluetooth headphones (Apple AirPods or Bose) to connect via AAC codec. I tried everything but nothing works. I did everything that‘s described here: https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/enable-aptx-aac-bluetooth-audio-codecs-macos/

I‘m super desperate, I hope you guys can help me.
