Hi;

I have two Macbook Pros, Late 2008 Unibody and Mid 2015. Both are running El Capitan.

Transferring photos etc from my HTC One M8 to my Late 2008 MacBook Pro has always worked flawlessly however I am now trying to transfer photos via Bluetooth to the Mid 2015 MacBook Pro and it is not working.

The two devices can see each other correctly and both display the same pairing number. After clicking pair on both both devices the Bluetooth symbol on the MacBook switches to connected and then a second or so later it disconnects. Trying to send a file from the phone by selecting BlueTooth and the Mackbook as the device also fails.

I have removed all previous Bluetooth devices on both the MacBook and the HTC Phone and have restarted both devices. I also reset all Network Setting on the phone.

Still no joy :-(

Any ideas?
