I have a 2011 macbook pro 13 with an i5 in it, I'm telling you this just so you know the time period its from.
It has bluetooth, i used to use my iPad to listen to music through my sound bar and my iPad worked great, but i sold my iPad and at the moment i don't have one. So i tried using my laptop but it does not stay connected to my sound bar via bluetooth. It will connect and it will play, but its spotty at best and after a short period, before a song even plays through, it disconnects itself.
Is the bluetooth on MacBooks known to do that? Does the bluetooth on MacBooks just not work all that great? I mean if apple can make my iPad connect i figured my macbook would work too. Is this a known issue with my particular macbook? Maybe i need a new bluetooth card? It seems to do file transfers from my iPhone to it and back fine, and to other devices. Its a little slower than i expected at that but it works none the less.
Ideas? Thoughts? Any help is appreciated.
