I have been having a frustrating Bluetooth issue this week and not sure if it is iOS26 or potentially hardware causing the issue.

I have the new 17 Pro Max (running the latest iOS) and everyday this week I have lost connectivity with my AirPods Pro (this older lightening ones). The connection drops late afternoon after working all day and when I try to reconnect I get a ‘Connection Failed’ error and the only solution I have found is a hard reset of the AirPods AND deleting the network settings on my phone. After, that I have been able to reconnect 3x so far but clearly that is frustrating.

Yesterday, I tried to connect other headphones - a pair of Jabra Evolve Buds & Bose Over-ear headphones - before a reset and they too would not connect which makes me think this is not an AirPods issue, but either software or hardware.

Anyone else have issues like this or a solution?

15PM & 16P both iOS26.1 RC and no problems with hearing aids & BT. 15PM I have to re-pair aids after iOS update but not 16P. Different aids on each iPhone may be this cause but no problems after parried.
