I have a Belkin BT 2.0 USB adapter plugged in to the left side of my keyboard. Essentially, the adapter makes the Mac believe that it has a stock Bluetooth card installed. I get the standard BT prefpane and menubar icon and can control BT devices the same as everyone else who has a stock BT card in their Macs.
I've mentioned this adapter a few times, but I brought it up this time not because of the adapter itself but the fact that my 15 year old Quicksilver is streaming iTunes radio to a large Harmon-Kardon speaker via Bluetooth - at the same time it's maintaining a connection to my Magic Mouse.
Both feats a stock Quicksilver does not have. Every time I get to do this kind of thing, knowing that finding the right stuff made it possible, it makes me happy.
