Bluetooth Connects Then Quicky Disconnects

Hey guys I have a question regarding Bluetooth. I did the commcenter hack to get tethering and when I try to connect my phone to my MacBook for Bluetooth it just connects then quicky disconnects. Do I have to have tethering enabled just to get Bluetooth to work? I don't want to tether via Bluetooth but it seems the only way I can hold a Bluetooth connection is if tethering is on.

Same problem (sort of). I have a feeling it might have to do with SBSettings...but that's purely a guess.

The weird part is after it disconnects, the phone says it's still connected even though it isn't.

This is happening with the bluetooth in my car by the way...
