Bluetooth dropouts, nothing connected to USB3.0

Anyone else experiencing this?
I cannot solve anything with a HUB because, well, nothing is connected to it.

I am suspecting it's related to handoff/continuity seems it happens when i come close to it with my phone, but it's not consistently replicable.
[doublepost=1553168625][/doublepost]it's most certainly the phone, because when i open messages, they freeze for couple of seconds... doesn't happen on the 13".

Are you using Wi-Fi? That can cause interference with Bluetooth as well, especially if you're using a 2.4Ghz band or using your Mac as a hotspot for another device. This article has some general tips to reduce interference: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201542

I am yeah, but not hotspot. I'm on 4 meters away from a 5GHz Apple Airport Extreme (no metal obstacles), and this only happens when my phone is near
