I am trying to use bluetooth DUN on my Galaxy S from Lion. The network provider is Virgin Mobile. The setup with the bluetooth detection worked without problems. The device is discovered, the service is shown and a network interface is set up. The connection can be activated and the device is connecting, but then the connection fails with a "network error". Just saying that "an error occurred with the modem...". I am unable to find the log.
Has anyone seen this behaviour before? Do I need a script? Is the DUN on the Galaxy working at all?
Using DUN must seem an odd choice, but I have my reasons: I would like to avoid adding additional software for a PAN to the Galaxy, and I would like to avoid using the WLAN tether, as it chews up too much power.
