I'm actually very interested in the answer to this as well, for watching movies on the iPad on a plane mainly. I got a pair of Bose QC30s that don't have a 3.5mm wire at all.
There are some headphones that, if you have two sets, can share a bluetooth stream. The ones I've seen are the SkyGenius with ShareMe.
Also the JBL E40BT.
Also, there are Bluetooth splitters that are supposed to be able to do this. That would be a much cheaper alternative.
