Down by the bay.
I just bought a new Mighty Mouse. Without my using anything else, my MacBooks temperature was about 120 degrees F. That was without BlueTooth enabled.

Now, with BlueTooth enabled and using my Wireless MM, its temperature is now 135 degrees F. What gives? Is it supposed to give off that much heat?

What did you do to randomize conditions and make sure the increase in temperature wasn't due to the computer being on for longer by the time you turned on bluetooth?

135F is about 57C. This is on the processor die, right? That's not an atypical temperature for that processor, AFAIK.

That processor temp is on par with regular use. Is your MB raised for better airflow?

Yup. I got it propped up on two books on the ends (center is totally open). Been like that since I got my MB.

I still believe its the BlueTooth because before when I had it off, it was nice and cool.
