Bluetooth for the printer?

I got a MP460 from the Mac and a printer deal. I see to print wirelessly, I have to by a canon BT adaptor. Two questions:

Is there another way to print wirelessly?

Will any bluetooth adapter work?

I'll be using an iMac.

You could get an AirPort base station, or if your printer has networking capabilities, any wireless router.

I don't recommend the Bluetooth route. While the solution works, it's significantly slower than AirPort Express/AirPort Extreme Base Station WiFi printing (and AirPort Express isn't much more expensive than Canon's Bluetooth adapter). FYI, you can only print via WiFi and Bluetooth. You will need to connect the printer via USB for scanning, importing images, etc.
