I did a search and found an old thread, but couldn't find anything new.

A2DP is now available for iPhone 3G / 3GS, but 2G users were excluded in that party. I was really hoping to use my old bluetooth GPS with 3.0 OS.

I know Apple want me to continuously buy a new product, but I just keep thinking why is it so hard to write BT stacks. I heard about bluetooth file transfer (project???), but there seems to be no update about BT GPS. Now that 3G and 3GS models all include GPS built-in, chances of getting BT GPS driver for 2G is becoming very slim.

I used to have Dell Axim back in 2005. That crappy pocket pc OS came with BT driver, but my 2G (I know it's old) with multi-touch, more advanced OS, all kinds of bells and whistles... etc doesn't even have that.

In my limited knowledge, there's gotta be some way to make this possible. Where I live doesn't even have 3G, so there's no point of me upgrading to a newer model. Can anyone help me?
