I am looking to buy a set of Bluetooth headphones but wondered if you can use them while connected to an external display? I use my iPhone in gym connected to external display and want to know if I can get the sound to come through the bluetooth headphones?

Bluetooth headphones while connected to external display?

I have no experience of such situation. However, does the connection to external display carry on the iPhone audio as well? If it does, then I'd expect you can't use Bluetooth headphones but I am not sure about this.
