I have a Sony DR-BT101 bluetooth headset that I have used for a long time under Windows 7. I recently bought my MBP 15" and successfully used the headset under Snow Leopard and under Bootcamp with Windows 7 installed.

Now after updating to Lion, the headset still works when using OS X but will not work when using the same Bootcamp Windows 7 partition. It seems to try and find drivers which do not exist for this device. I get a momentary indication that everything is working and then Windows says the drivers were NOT installed.

Anyone experiencing this kind of problem?

P.S. I already have a call into Apple tech support.

Yep..same here

I'm seeing the same problem on a new MacBook Air with Lion and Windows 7. Any suggestions?

Nope nothing or nobody has been able to help. Mine worked fine under Snow Leopard but isn't doing anything now.

Actually, I haven't tried using it under 10.7.1 but I don't think that changed much.

Hi,

Microsoft bluetooth stack in Windows 7 doesn't support A2DP profile, Microsoft stated that the drivers should be provided by the hardware manufacturer.
However, Apple doesn't provide support for bluetooth audio profile.
BCM drivers did the job for earlier (2010) models but wont install on MBP 2011 (nor MBA 2011, iMac 2011).
For the latest (2011) models I posted the the solution here:

I hope it helps,
