When I pair a bluetooth headset with my Mac, I can hear the audio correctly. But when I speak through it, it sounds very unclear, like if there's a wasp in the line. I tried this by using the test account on Skype, that records your audio and then plays it.

I also tried to change the input volume, but that doesn't solve it. I do notice that the horizontal bar that displays the current audio level is always completely filled (it never drops), regardless of the input volume that I select.

I also tried removing the device from the bluetooth list, and then adding it again, but that doesn't solve it either.

It's happening with both of my headsets. A Jabra BT2020 and an Acer VoIP phone.

Bluetooth is absolutely crap on macs, I've given tyrying to setup my Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 and another Motorola headset can't think of the model right now. Very staticy, voice comes in and out, A2dp doesn't properly and loses connection, audio lag when watching videos.
