Bluetooth headset won't play audio

I broke my headphones, so I decided rather than buy new ones, i would just use a bluetooth headset. After I paired it, I tried to watch a video, but the audio wasn't playing. I can hear the beeps when I adjust the computer volume. It also works fine with iChat. Help?
