Hello everyone,

Whenever I restart my Powerbook 15" (Last revision) my Bluetooth icon in the menu bar disappears, and I'm forced to go to System preferences and uncheck the 'show bluetooth icon in menu bar' and check it again. Is there a solution to this, or has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,

The preferences for SystemUI Server (the process that runs the right side of the menu bar, among other non-critical things) could be messed up. Download Preferential Treatment and check the file. Alternatively, you can just move the file (if you can find it. I have no idea where it is) out of the folder it's in, restart the process (just quit it from Activity Monitor), and see if that helps.

Have you repaired permissions recently? that would be the first thing i would try!
