So, I've had the Apple Trackpad since I first got my iMac in December of 2013. I rarely use it, but I decided to put new batteries in it and connect it again. No matter what I do, it immediately kills the keyboard to the point it is unusable. I haven't had this issue on Mavericks, Yosemite, or Sierra.

As soon as I disconnect, the issue goes away and the keyboard returns to normal.

Anybody else experience this? Is there a fix? I've tried moving the trackpad away from the keyboard, restarting, disconnecting the trackpad and re-connecting it, turning off handoff, etc. etc. etc. The moment the trackpad connects, the keyboard no longer will allow me to type or backspace or anything. It also sometimes interferes with the Magic Mouse.

Very odd, but I can't imagine I'm the only one.
