Bluetooth issues with iOS 17

Is anyone else having problems with iPhone 15 Pro and their bluetooth. Not so much for my Airpods, they seem to consisently work. But whenever I am using my swipe card access app (it requires Bluetooth to work), my entire home screen is freezing with my Apple Pay cards and wont allow me to use my phone. Has been ongoing for a while

I have seen reports on BT issues with the iPhone 15 but it seems like the last year BT issues has increased, not only on iPhones.

My guess what's behind many of these are that there have been a vulnerabilities found in the BT stack that has been corrected that might cause incompatibilities or issues.
Now, this is only a guess but have seen similar issues on Android devices when they have patched found BT related CVE's

I know it doesn't help your situation, but the solution for some of the issues i've come across is to update the BT device is connecting to or the software that comes with it.
